10 years ago, Ahmed turned to yoga, somatic therapy, traditional chinese medicine and shamanic healing in an effort to fix persistent issues with his own body. By the time he recovered, he  moved away from a successful career as a health & wellbeing journalist for men's titles including Arena, GQ & Mr Porter and retrained as a bodyworker and yoga teacher. Today he aids others on a quest for deeper embodiment through asana, massage, vibrational retraining and guided visualisation.

He is less concerned with 'picture perfect' postures and instead uses a strong and sweaty yogasana practice as a way to reconnect with spirit, release stuck emotion and rehabilitate the physical body.
